Initiative details
ASIA IMPACT NEXUS-TOKYO is an impact unicorn incubation program based in Tokyo, designed to contribute to the realization of the “10X10X10” innovation vision. By connecting entrepreneurs and universities in Tokyo, Seoul, and Taipei, this program aims to identify and nurture the U30 generation of entrepreneurs who are dedicated to solving social challenges across Asia from the earliest stages of their ventures.
Through a highly practical and hands-on incubation curriculum, the program provides comprehensive support to help the U30 generation grow and scale their businesses. With a structured educational framework and specialized coaching centered in Tokyo, the initiative seeks to transform shared regional challenges — such as population aging, environmental issues, and regional depopulation — into viable business opportunities, ultimately fostering the emergence of impact unicorns originating from Tokyo.
In addition to startup development, the program is committed to cultivating a network of qualified startup incubation professionals known as Venture Building Experts (VBEs). By continuously training these experts, the program aims to embed a strong culture of “incubation” and “collaboration” in all three cities. This approach lays the foundation for building a sustainable impact startup ecosystem capable of addressing social issues and creating long-term value throughout the region.
