Overview
Our mission is to serve as a "First Penguin Do Tank" that drives social progress. We pursue this by engaging in business focused on regional revitalization and local community development, with education as our core pillar.
Our work initially centered on supporting public high schools—including High School Attractiveness Projects—to enhance educational appeal and promote local revitalization, alongside providing preparation for comprehensive school-based and general selection processes. Today, we have broadened our scope to encompass elementary and junior high schools, private schools, and universities. Our current work includes the development of programs and resources for inquiry-based learning, PBL, STEAM, and entrepreneurship education.
Initiative details
We will develop and deliver a new, systematic entrepreneurship program spanning over one year, designed for about 20 high school and first/second-year university students (targeting those with an interest in local revitalization, especially students from Tokyo’s island and mountainous areas). This curriculum offers inquiry-based and “cross-border” learning aimed at the practical solution of regional issues.
The program structure includes monthly lectures and workshops, as well as an overstay training session in the summer of 2026, held either overseas or in domestic island regions. This core activity embodies our goal to “solve Tokyo’s challenges by understanding what lies beyond Tokyo.” The program is also built-in with lectures on AI and programming to enable participants to rapidly conduct hypothesis-testing cycles.
Furthermore, we will organize several open-access events to widely offer students opportunities to engage with global insights and cutting-edge knowledge, fostering personal growth and empowering them to make informed choices and take action for the future.
