② Utilize the resources of partner businesses and Tokyo University of Science, one of Japan’s largest science and technology universities (researchers, current students, alumni, and university-certified VCs) to establish new routes for continuous access to startups’ proof-of-concept experiments, social implementation of new services, and business development partners.
③ Plan and hold new startup support programs and fundraising pitch contests specializing in cutting-edge science fields, including deep tech and AI/machine learning, leading to concrete collaborations with business partners and investment from venture capitalists, etc.
④ Form a specialized team with knowledge of technology management and investment track record to create a proof-of-concept program (TUSIDE Social Implementation Program) specializing in startups in cutting-edge science fields, which will be the first of its kind, and provide support and investment for PoC costs.
Furthermore, in addition to increasing the chances of commercialization and fundraising, startups in cutting-edge science fields that have completed a series of rigorous programs will receive investment from a seed fund set up by the incubation facility. ⑤ In order to strengthen support in the field of cutting-edge science, the newly installed cutting-edge equipment, such as GPU cloud servers, will be used to demonstrate startup businesses, and active trial and error will be encouraged to improve the quality of products and services.
