Overview

DEEPCORE is a venture capital firm focused on AI and advanced technology companies, supporting entrepreneurs who are passionate about changing the world through innovation. We invest in seed-to-early-stage startups across various sectors, including healthcare, manufacturing, and logistics.
In addition to our investment activities, we support startups through initiatives such as the KERNEL community, which connects AI engineers, researchers, and entrepreneurs, and an accelerator program for early-stage startups aiming for international expansion.
We also offer career development support through “LINKS by KERNEL”, our dedicated hiring and matching platform for the startup ecosystem.

Initiative details

This initiative aims to break through two major barriers faced by entrepreneurs: the “barrier of isolation,” cited by 53% of those who abandon their entrepreneurial ambitions, and the “human and organizational barriers,” which account for 65% of startup failures. These two barriers represent a critical “support gap,” an area where support has traditionally been insufficient and where solutions have remained a black box.
As a solution, we will fuse DEEPCORE’s hands-on expertise as a venture capital firm with MIMIGURI’s established theories in organizational development. We will provide a peer-learning program that bridges theory and practice, targeting a wide range of participants from aspiring entrepreneurs to early-stage startups. This initiative is not merely a training program; it is a dedicated “research and development” project designed to create an organizational development model optimized for startups.
Through this research and development process, we will codify the methods for overcoming founding-stage organizational challenges—an area that has traditionally relied on individual experience—into a universally accessible intellectual asset: the “Organizational Development OS.” We will then give back these findings to the entire ecosystem in the form of research reports, thereby achieving the “democratization” of organizational development.
By doing so, we will address the biggest bottlenecks to entrepreneurship, accelerate the growth of “high-caliber” startups from Tokyo, and contribute to elevating the overall success rate of the entire ecosystem.
