Overview
The Startup Studio Association is a general incorporated association formed by domestic startup studio operators, with the mission to simultaneously and diversely create startups capable of driving societal transformation.Member studios have provided unique, hands-on support to numerous early-stage startups, actively identifying and nurturing pre-launch entrepreneurs while collaborating closely with regional startup ecosystems across Japan.Leveraging the strengths, extensive experience, and proven track records of each studio's specialized domain, the association enhances its efforts in supporting entrepreneurs’ business development. Currently, it continues to strengthen partnerships with municipalities nationwide to foster locally-rooted entrepreneurial initiatives.
Initiative details
By collecting latent and unresolved customer issues through targeted interviews and compiling them into a comprehensive database, entrepreneurs can effectively conduct field research and hypothesis testing, fostering a social implementation process grounded in primary data. This framework resolves disconnects between startups and regional resources, enabling new startup creation through bilateral collaboration. Furthermore, it shifts away from traditional incubation models—where support primarily depends on ideas proposed by entrepreneurs—to proactively offering entrepreneurs validated, high-potential challenges, thereby stimulating the creation of new value.
