The Nature Governance Startup Program is a Tokyo-initiated, globally scalable support initiative that nurtures startups contributing to the industrialization of a “Nature Positive” economy—balancing natural capital preservation and economic development. Through hands-on PoC support, funding facilitation, and collaboration with government, industry, and academia, the program discovers and accelerates impactful startups. It also fosters co-creation of new industries and policy through urban-nature integration projects, while cultivating ecosystem enablers and cross-sector communities. This program aspires to build a sustainable, nature-based economic ecosystem from Tokyo to the world.
