CROSSBIE JAPAN K.K., founded in Berlin in April 2020 with its Japan office in Yokohama, is an accelerator supporting startups. It promotes cross-border innovation between Japan and Europe, fostering co-creation with corporates, governments, and startups. Services include fundraising, global talent development, and support for European market entry. The company also assists with applications for Germany’s "Forschungszulage" R&D tax credit and is involved in programs selected by JETRO, Tokyo’s X-HUB, and Osaka City. Leveraging a network across more than ten European countries including Germany, Ireland, the UK, and France, CROSSBIE aims to create sustainable business and social impact.
Initiative details
This project supports female entrepreneurs aiming to expand their businesses overseas by helping them achieve Product-Market Fit (PMF). CROSSBIE Japan and EY ShinNihon LLC collaborate to provide overseas dispatch, local business matching, and tailored mentoring in Europe. The goal is to foster Japanese female entrepreneurs who succeed globally, build international networks, and create role models. Continued support is offered after their return to Japan, with the aim of nurturing future unicorns.
