This project aims to transform Tokyo into a “global hub for impact startups” that connects the city to international markets focused on solving social issues. We will hold an invitation-only conference, “IMPACT SHIFT for Global,” to bring overseas investors, support organizations, and conference organizers to Tokyo, facilitating matchmaking and pitch sessions that help local startups secure overseas speaking opportunities and build networks. Additionally, we will provide follow-up support such as introducing local partners and creating business negotiation opportunities after these engagements to drive market expansion and fundraising. Even after the project period, we aim to establish ongoing mechanisms for reciprocal conference participation and foster an environment where overseas expansion becomes a standard growth strategy for Tokyo-based startups.
