Overview
SUNDRED is a "new industry ecosystem builder" aiming to "co-create 100 new industries" by (1) creating and promoting new industry co-creation projects, (2) developing and operating a platform for dialogue and co-creation (Living Lab), and (3) empowering and training interpreneurs (cross-border and co-creation personnel) to co-create new industries as well as create and nurture trigger businesses and startups.
Initiative details
In Japan, the creation and development of new industries is a major issue due to the lack of progress in the aggregation and combination of resources in new fields. We will form new industry co-creation projects while aggregating and combining resources by involving various sectors (industry, government, academia, and private sector) and creating and nurturing startups that can scale up under the theme of co-creating new industries in a new paradigm. Our Contribution to Tokyo Innovation Base
(1) Hold workshops and co-create agendas and ecosystem hypotheses
(2) Formulate and promote new industry co-creation projects involving diverse sectors
(3) Create and nurture startups that will trigger new industry ecosystems
(4) Development and organization of interpreneurs who lead the co-creation of new industries (not limited to nurturing entrepreneurs) to achieve “10 x 10 x 10”
