It is difficult for researchers to find a path to commercialize their research seeds which may contribute to society, start a business, or raise funds. Keio University will launch an incubation program (Keio Startup Incubation Program; KSIP) to resolve the bottlenecks, navigate researchers and entrepreneurs, and increase the achievement rate of startups. This program has two key features:

(1) Customized support to guide entrepreneurs: Startup Division, partnering with Keio Innovation Initiative (KII), systematize the support framework and menu, and provide customized support to guide each team. We will maximize results by leveraging our strengths in collaboration with KII, alumni networks, and other partners.

(2) A community to enhance quantity and quality of entrepreneurs: Keio University will develop its own community platform where researchers who aim to start a business can connect with their peers, and where knowledge and successful experiences can be shared and accumulated.
