ANRI is introducing “TOKYO PRIZE Carbon Reduction,” a research and development competition dedicated to climate change with a prize pool anticipated to be around 100 million. Through this initiative, we aspire to transform Tokyo into a hub where Climate Tech startups consistently emerge and thrive. Utilizing its established network with startups and researchers from managing a climate change-centric fund, ANRI is inviting teams with technologies that contribute to carbon dioxide emission reduction. Among the applicants, teams possessing promising technologies capable of reducing the annual 60 million tons of CO2 emissions in Tokyo will be selected as the award recipients. To support the participating teams, ANRI will offer meetups and mentoring sessions at CIRCLE by ANRI, one of Japan’s premier startup incubation facilities.
