Overview
STORIUM is a co-creation ecosystem that supports the growth of promising startups that drive next-generation innovation and realizes open innovation for business companies. It connects startups, investors, and key people in business companies, and provides advanced information systems and communication functions that optimize matching between companies. In addition to efficient online collaboration, the catalyst team provides introduction support and holds offline networking events across the country, and it is growing into one of Japan's leading networking communities specialized for startups.
Initiative details
To eliminate the asymmetry of information and opportunities that exists between the “promising startups” concentrated in Tokyo and the “local innovators” who drive the renewal of social and economic systems and the creation of new industries in regional areas, we will:
1. Launch a web media platform that highlights the philosophies and breakthroughs of startups confronting social issues, assisting them in meeting new stakeholders.
2. Create matching opportunities by hosting event programs aimed at promoting exchange and collaboration between Tokyo startups and local innovators—such as regional banks, local companies, and municipalities responsible for regional innovation—as well as providing individualized information.
Furthermore, by offering comprehensive fulfillment services through STORIUM’s specialized functions for inter-company collaboration and hands-on support from our catalyst team, we will support the execution process toward becoming co-creation partners in the region alongside them.
