1) We aim to create a society where industry-academia collaboration between startups and universities becomes the norm. We will further enhance the utilization of universities’ knowledge and expertise in the Tokyo Startup Ecosystem.
2) We will create five high-impact case studies that can serve as model examples of collaboration between startups and universities. Through various initiatives, we will widely publicize and raise awareness about the significance, effects, and key considerations for startups collaborating with universities.
3) The promotion of industry-academia collaboration between startups and universities has been proposed as a policy for “New Open Innovation,” and it is highly compatible with new Tokyo Metropolitan Government projects such as “TiB Fab” and “TiB Catapult.” We will actively pursue cross-functional cooperation between these initiatives.
4) For startups, advancing industry-academia collaboration with universities is beneficial not only for acquiring core technologies but also for promoting open innovation with established companies.
5) This proposal is a unique initiative that only our company can undertake, given our expertise and networks in both “industry-academia-government collaboration” and “startup support.”
