Project Name: “ASIBA”: Cultivating the potential of next-generation “architecture, design, and creativity” to address long-term, wide-ranging, and complex social challenges, this initiative aims to create a globally recognized startup ecosystem. It supports the pre-seed development of ideas from students and young professionals in architecture, design, and creative fields through industry-academia-government collaboration projects and business incubation efforts by startup studios. This project transcends industry and corporate boundaries to establish a global “Creative Startup Ecosystem.” While young creative talents (“Creative Personnel”) are key to generating globally viable startups, their potential has not yet been fully utilized in Japan. By normalizing the participation in, and execution of startups as a career choice, we aim to diversify the types of startups and stimulate the growth of the ecosystem. This agreement project will expand the base of startups, increase awareness of the startup ecosystem, and enhance the implementation and support of creative business ideas, ultimately leading to the creation of a “Creative Startup Ecosystem” that encompasses Japan and the world.
